About the role

As a Tenancy Officer you will proactively deliver an excellent tenancy service to our residents, focussing on their needs, and expectations. You will also:

  • Provide advice and guidance to tenants, leaseholders and other occupiers on matters of housing law, welfare entitlements and tenants’ rights

  • Maintain overall responsibility for all tenancy matters

  • Keep abreast with changes from relevant regulatory bodies (HCA) and key industry legislation and good practice

  • To take responsibility for the day-to-day management of tenancies within a defined patch of properties, ensuring our properties are managed to the highest possible standard and condition.

 

About you

  • The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Housing or relevant experience within the social housing sector or similar

  • Knowledge of Housing Law, Housing and Neighbourhood Management issues and good practice

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Self-managing and target driven with strong organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Valid UK Driving License and access to own transport/vehicle.
