About the role
As a Tenancy Officer you will proactively deliver an excellent tenancy service to our residents, focussing on their needs, and expectations. You will also:
Provide advice and guidance to tenants, leaseholders and other occupiers on matters of housing law, welfare entitlements and tenants’ rights
Maintain overall responsibility for all tenancy matters
Keep abreast with changes from relevant regulatory bodies (HCA) and key industry legislation and good practice
To take responsibility for the day-to-day management of tenancies within a defined patch of properties, ensuring our properties are managed to the highest possible standard and condition.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Housing or relevant experience within the social housing sector or similar
Knowledge of Housing Law, Housing and Neighbourhood Management issues and good practice
Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-managing and target driven with strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Valid UK Driving License and access to own transport/vehicle.
